La 62 entrega de los Grammys se realizó el día de ayer en el Staples Center de Los Ángeles, California. La premiación contó con las personas más influyentes del mundo de la música y aquí te contamos algunos datos interesantes de la ceremonia. 

La gran ganadora de la noche fue Billie Eilish, ya que con solo 18 años logró obtener los 4 megáfonos más codiciados de la premiación Mejor Nuevo Artista, Grabación del Año, Canción del Año y Álbum del Año.

“Es la primera vez que vengo a unos Grammy y nunca esperé una cosa así. Yo crecí viéndolos. Siempre bromeo y no me tomo las cosas en serio, pero quiero decir que estoy tan agradecida, me siento honrada. Los adoro. Crecí viéndolos a todos”.

Otra de las artistas que deslumbró por su talento y sus dos Grammys fue Lizzo, quien ganó en las categorías Mejor Interpretación Pop Solista y Mejor Interpretación de R&B Tradicional. Además, fue la encargada de abrir la gala donde le dedicó su interpretación al recién fallecido Kobe Bryant. 

Por su parte Rosalía se llevó un premio a casa por su álbum ‘El Mal  Querer’ en la categoría de Mejor Álbum de Música Urbana o alternativa, “Igor” de Tyler, the Creador fue reconocido como el Mejor Álbum de Rap y Cage the Elephant recibió un megáfono por “Social Cues” en la terna Mejor Álbum de Rock.

La edición 2020 de los Grammy contó con las presentaciones de Aerosmith con Run DMC, Lil Nas X interpretó su éxito “Old Town Road” de la mano de Billy Ray Cirus, BTS, Mason Ramsey, Diplo y Young Thug. Camila Cabello cantó “First Man”, canción dedicada a su padre, Demi Lovato abrió su corazón con “Anyone” y Alicia Keys junto a Boyz II Men cantaron “It’s so Hard to Say Goodbye” en honor a Kobey.
